Day 1 – Arrival in Cape Town

– Arrival at Cape Town International Airport, reception by the Moto Travel guides and transfer to the hotel.
– At the end of the day a welcome briefing will be held, where you will receive Moto Travel Tours gifts.

Day 2 – Cape Town – Cape Town – 160 km

– Motorbike pick-up
– Beginning of the trip along the Cape Peninsula crossing the spectacular Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope.
– After lunch, back along the coast to the city of Cape Town through the famous Chapman´s Peak Drive, watching the sun setting in the horizon.

Day 3 – Cape Town – Montagu – 300 km

– On this day we will enter the interior of South Africa through Bainskloof Pass and Mitchell´s Pass until Ceres.
– First, we will encounter the semi-arid region of the Karoo then we will enter the fertile valley of Koo in the direction of the oriental Robertson Wine Route.

Day 4 – Montagu – Oudtshoorn – 310 km

– Route 62 awaits you on this day, but before riding across this famous road, we will explore first the Breede River Wine Valley
– We will then enter Tradouw, the access road to Route 62, heading towards the capital of Little Karoo.

Day 5 – Oudtshoorn – Oudtshoorn – 210 km

– On this day, we will visit the ostriches of Oudtshoorn, but the highlight will be exploring the gravel road of Swartberg and beautiful Meiringspoort mountain pass.
– A less adventurous option would be the route to Mosselbay.

Day 6 – Oudtshoorn – Tsitsikamma – 240 kms

– Changing from a semi arid region to a green blooming landscape, we enter the Garden Route riding through Outeniqua towards the coast.
– During the rest of the day we will ride along the Indian Ocean cost to find a rare jewel hidden in the middle of Tsitsikamma.

Day 7 – Tsitsikamma – Addo – 230 km

– A day of less riding in order to feel the amazing interior of South Africa.
– Arrival at the National Elephant Park in Addo. Here we will enjoy a tasty typical lunch, followed by an incredible first safari in the afternoon. Don´t forget to bring your cameras and charged batteries!!!

Day 8 – Addo – Graaff-Reinet – 270 km

– The open plains of Camdeboo await us!!
– Today our BMWs will take us to the fourth oldest city of South Africa, Swellendam, for the next safari. At the end of the day we can relax and enjoy some drinks while appreciating the amazing savannah sunset.

Day 9 – Graaff-Reinet – Wilderness – 420 km

– As we ride through the endless roads of the wonderful plains, we start to leave behind the arid region of Karoo.
– Before reaching the ocean there are two options: one filled with emotion through the lovely road of Prince Alfred (dust / gravel), the other less adventurous, reaches the ocean through the paved pass of Outeniqua.

Day 10 – Wilderness “A day to explore”

– Feel free to explore.
– Ride through the road of the Old Seven Passes, delight yourself with a seafood lunch, go bungy jumping* or on a guided tour and get to know the local community of Town Ship (slum), or simply relax on the beach or at the pool.

Day 11 – Wilderness – Arniston – 340 km

– Today we are heading east towards South Africa´s most southern tip!
– During the afternoon there are two routes to Arniston, you can either follow a dust road and cross the river on a ferry or take a paved road.

Day 12 – Arniston – Stellenbosch – 240 km

– After visiting one of South Africa´s landmarks, lunch will be in Hermanus, a famous city known for whale sight- seeing.
– After lunch, we will carry on our trip through Gordan´s Bay, probably the biggest highlight of the whole trip!
– After cruising one of the most breathtaking coastal roads, the Cape Winelands is a perfect way to finish you day.

Day 13 – Stellenbosch – Cape Town – 240 km

– We´ve explored the wine-producing region, the famous Winelands!
Then we follow in the direction of Franschhoek for its well-known route towards Villiersdorp.
Next stop, Cape Town, crossing the mountains before reaching the old road of Du Toit´s Kloof, where the city salutes us once again with a magnificent picture postcard view of the Table Mountain.

Day 14 – Departure – Country of Origen

– Planning transfer schedules to Cape Town International Airport.
